How to prepare for Psych InterviewRating: (votes: 0) Wear your tinfoil hat! Comment:
That was stupid of me to post initially, it's been a long week. I would ask: What unique challenges has this unit faced over the last year? (i.e. successes, failures, etc.) And then ask for a quick tour of the facility.

Well I am still in nursing school and but graduating next month and I also have my second interview on friday, but for an ER position. I didn't get the jobb my first go round but I am claiming it this second time. I just wanted to wish you good luck and also, be prepared for maybe clinical scenerio questions. I wasn't prepared for them during my first interview. Good Luck Again!

Be prepared to not look surprised at what the patients are like when you first lay eyes on them. I was told I got my job because I didnt flinch when approached by a patient on my walk through who began telling me about his voices and for the fact that I spoke to the patients that did approach me. The nurse manager also commented on the fact that I did not appear the least bit nervous walking on to the locked units.
