Do they also mean in home health or nursing homes, or are they primarily referring to hospitals?
By job shortage, I mean when people say jobs are scarce for LVNs/RNs.
If an article specifically mentions the job situation for LP/VNs, it is probably referring to non-acute employers since hospital jobs are very scarce. There is a wide variation in the job market between geographic regions. In my neck of the woods, practically every LTC has signs posted - announcing job openings for LVNs.
