Rerouting. HelpRating: (votes: 0) ![]() ![]() I would advise some hard introspection before making any further decisions. What exactly caused you to "chicken out" and not continue with nursing the first time around? Are those circumstances any different now? Are you trying to pursue nursing now in hopes of landing a job? Recent information from the National Student Nurse Association revealed that 45% of new grads were still unemployed after a significant period of time - I think it was 6 months. is this something you could deal with - after running up >$60k in student loans? With your GPA, you probably ought to be concerned about being admitted to a nursing program rather than trying to find the easiest, most inexpensive route. Chances are, those types of programs are also popular with others who want a fast track - so admission would be very competitive. Your best bet may be to look into local community college ADN programs. They are much less expensive. |
