Hi I am currently a LPN and I am debating which route to take for completing my nursing education. Should I do a bridge Lpn to Rn or Focus on getting a BSN? Can someone tell me the pros and cons for each maybe you'll remember something I forgot.
A lot of the pros and cons are dependent on your personal situation, which only you know about.

Comment:
The benefits to having a BSN are:1. You might be more hireable in some areas in a hospital setting2. You can work your way up to management3. You can more easily gain a higher degree (MS, NP, CRNA)4. You might get paid more in some statesCons:1. Takes longer2. More expensiveThe reverse applies if you go for the LPN-RN program.
