Do nps make money?

I was wondering because I was looking at the salary online to be at least 70k but I noticed a lot of nps are taking teaching jobs as part time along with their NP jobs and a lot of my np teachers complain about salary the school pays them. In my head im like aren't you making 80k already aside from teaching?
Depends on where you work. I work in a small clinic, and I pull in about 60k/year. But I live in Alabama, in a small town, and would probably make more if I wanted to move to a bigger city. However, I love my job, so I accepted the salary, and just upped my eBay sales, lol!There are trade-offs, and salary is dependent on many factors.

Lately the trend has been to pay them with macaroni art made by the hands of children and held together with the tears of unicornz.(The z is a typo and it stays.)

I know, I know, lol. But liking what I do and a lower stress level were worth the pay cut, at least to me.

I work at a large medical center in the midwest and all salaries are posted online along with job description. New NPs at my facility begin at $71,400 and max out at around $114,000.

I make quite decent +100k, 30 hrs a week or so and I love my profession as a ARNP in the state of WA, I could never imagine going back to the bedside as a RN, though I value and would never change my experience as a RN as it made me who I am today.

Not many nurse educators make $80,000 in a year. Usually, only doctorally-prepared faculty make salaries like that. In my area, faculty with master's degrees max out around $50,000.

The Walgreens Take Care Clinic NPs have formed a Union. I knew Walgreens would screw them as fast as they could. Good on those NPs for uniting and stopping the bloodloss quickly. Take Care Clinics are quite popular in my area. Many people like the VERY complete physical they can get from a great NP, as well as the minor stuff that needs a quick look too.

I believe one reason schools are having problems getting educators is that they begin their pay lower than what the nurse would earn as a nurse. I was told by one Dean that it was due to the fact I had never taught in a university before, so the pay started at entry level. Never mind the fact that in order to teach you had to have a license + experience. So I dropped the educator in a school idea.
