Where to find classes/educational opportunities?Rating: (votes: 0) www.medscape.com has lots of free continuing education things. Some certifications require you to be working in a particular job related to the certification. When you are working, the facility should have information on where to get the certifications they require. Comment:
Check out the local hospitals' websites. They might have some sort of education link where you can find relevant classes to take. If you aren't an employee of the hospital, you might have to pay a fee.
Comment:
two connotations for "certificates". One has to do with continuing education or cpr, acls, etc. The other has to do with specialized certification related to an area of nursing.Someone who might know is a hospital educator. Try giving them a call. If you want CNE, look online for nursing CNE and check out various manufacturers of hospital equipment. Medline and Baxter both have excellent programs online.
Comment:
Excellent--thanks for the suggestions!
