I thought of a discussion here at AN the other day as IRating: (votes: 0) If I get the job, I will be forever grateful to Allnurses for showing me the light. Keep us posted. We like to hear good news. Comment:
I do either depending on the timing. If I want it to get there right away, or I want the possibility of a back and forth conversation, I do an email. If time is not of the essence I will do a handwritten note.

Good for you. Hope you are successful!

I always send a handwritten thank you note. When I was hired for my last job, before the days of nursing school...The hiring manager told me the decision was between me and one other person and the thank you note sealed the deal. It's personal, it's appropriate and it just may be the thing that give you an edge. It certainly cannot hurt. Good luck to you!!!

Quote from kloneSent out a thank-you card after a job interview. None of those new-fangled email thank-yous, either! Hand-written, sealed, stamped, and sent out through the honest-to-goodness USPS! If I get the job, I will be forever grateful to Allnurses for showing me the light.
