Question regarding part time positions in CanadaRating: (votes: 0) Can anyone explain to me what a 0.56 would be entitled to? That is, if I work a 0.56 will I get all benefits? Will I need to pay a higher premium? How exactly does this work here in Canada? Thanks so much!!!! You would have to consult the employer regarding benefits but generally part time positions do not include benefits. It may vary but I get 14% in lieu of benefits added onto my pay since I am part time. It would likely depend on the local agreement if it is a unionized position. Comment:

Well there you go. I guess you have benefits if that's what they said.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure as I am internationally educated and wanted to make sure that was correct. It does seem odd that a 0.56 would be benefited.
