Soon to be new LPN

Can any help me out with some info. I will graduate from Spencerian in Louisville, KY in September, but i want take my boards in CA. This my home state that i will be moving back to i will not be working in KY. Has anyone done the same thing and if so what is the process? Thanks
Have you tried going to the board of nursing in CA's website:http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov/licensing/forms.shtml

i was told to take boards in the state of my school then apply for a license in the state u plan to live in because its way faster.
