How to decline a job .......Rating: (votes: 0) Since you haven't actually been offered a job by the cardiac unit, you wouldn't be declining one; you're just declining a face to face interview after a telephone interview. This doesn't seem like a big deal to me, or anything that would "burn bridges".I would call the director of the cardiac unit, thank her for the phone interview, and tell her that you'll be declining the face to face interview due to having accepted an offer elsewhere, but you'd be interested in the possibility of working for her in the future. I wouldn't say 6 to 12 months, I'd be more vague -- that's not a whole lot of time to plan to be working for this current employer, and she might not look favorably on the fact that you're already thinking about leaving a job you only just accepted. Just say thanks and keep me in mind for the future. Comment:
Thanks so much for your response I truly appreciate it. I know I want to save up some money before I make a move so far away. I know now that I do not like the cold wheather and I will be moving to a warmer climate. Im sure it doesnt sound great and your right I will keep the rest very vague. Thanks again so much!
