I agree with you, can you go to your charge with your concerns? Explain why you feel this way, what safety issues for patients you can forsee, and if possible maybe come up with a plan to fix it. If you give them an example of what might work better maybe they are having a hard time figuring out what to do and your advice could make all the difference...Good LuckPink

Double dose of meds given cause nurse did not sign for the med when the other nurse step in. Meds sign for but not given cause nurse was about to give and than pull off the floor. Residents that stated to the new nurse taking over did not received meds but sign for since you came in the middle of meds pass you do not know. Imagine double dose of coumdain, potassium, midodraine being given? Anyone would like to add to this, I am building a case against this practice to present to my superiors and could use any further comments and advice that could aid my cause.
