ideas for treats for my floorRating: (votes: 0) here is what I suggest. A big poster board. Be creative in your way but a spot on the board for each coworker. Then using symbols, words, whatever, let that person know what they have meant to you while you have known them. Then hang it in the break room From the heart Note: it is imposssible to be too touchy feely, let the love flow Comment:
They would appreciate food more than a poster in the breakroom. Seriously.

I dont think so. And seriously, from what I have seen, there is no call for more food in most nursing floor break rooms

someone just recently left my floor. we had a tea party. everyone bought in desserts. i don't think you can ever go wrong with sushi or dessert. honestly, they will probably be very happy if you left a heartfelt card and maybe a photograph. : )

any food that is in the breakroom!! i think the thing that our unit enjoys the most is chocolate goodness!!!!what i did when my internship was over, was i made 2 pans of brownies and 2 pans of skotcharoos (double frosting!). i brought 1 pan of brownies and 1 pan of skotcharoos for AM shift and again for night shift. There ended up being a little extra for the next day.Simple, people liked it and it was easy for me. i used the disposable pans so i could just leave it.

Just no Dunkin' Donuts. A Box o' Joe is acceptable, though.

I am sorely disappointed....I really thought my poster idea would be a huge hit

The poster idea is a good one. I'd suggest making it in such a way that each co-worker can take her piece of it home with her.You could do the Chinese take-out and bring in your own fortune cookies. There are places online that sell them. Make a special fortune for each friend.

I like the food AND the poster ideas! It's always fun to have good food, but it would actually be nice to show these people how much I like them and will miss them in a more personal way too.

Edible arrangements. They are awesome! And don't forget ALL the shifts!

Food is always appreciated - enough for everyone.A hand-written note to each person with a comment or two that is very specific to that person with a copy to their personnel file.A gift to the unit ( I can't think of what right now) that your name can be engraved on.Best wishes!!
