Question re pregnancy and working as an RN

For those of you that are working in a hospital doing floor nursing, did you work through your whole pregnancy? With such a physical job, I am wondering how it will be. Also, how many weeks after the baby did you take off? What is a typical maternity leave? Were you covered with short term disability?
