Night shift tips

I have been precepting on night shift and will most likely work night shift when I graduate. Does anyone have any night shift tips not feeling like I've been run over by a truck and working a few nights in a row?? It's getting better but still rough after several days.
I head to the gym to exercise in the morning immediately after my night shift has ended. The exercise is good for weight control, energy, appetite control, and regulation of sleep.
