Capstone Research Project

Hello All:

I am doing my capstone on Violence in the ED. I am having a challenge identifying a theory to use. My plan is to use education and training for nurses to fight violence.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

violence against whom? staff by patients/visitors/family? patients, e.g., domestic violence or child abuse? lateral violence from peers or other staffers, e.g., physician -> nurse? define your terms and then you'll have a lot of literature to read and apply.
