Need a Major Change!!!

Hi all! So I have only been an RN for 9 months....but it feels like forever! I got my first job in rehab/LTC, and quickly became charge nurse. I work full time...so I feel like I have had a lot of experience. I dream of working in an ICU someday...and really need to find a job in a hospital to get more experience so that someday I can be an ICU nurse. My problem is that no one will hire me with less than a year of experience! Say I was a nurse who only worked one day a week....but had 1 yr exp. How is that better than having worked full time for 9 months? I have been applying all over the country...with no results. Why am I not being hired? I need a major change! Help!?
