Sounds like your attitude to make life an adventure made it easier on both of you. Sweet.

I sit here crying and reflecting on what my children had to go through while I was obtaining my nursing degree. The nights that I would fall asleep over my care plans only to wake up and find that my oldest had bathed himself and his little sister and made sure that his brother had had a bath. Then he got everyone to bed. The early, early morning trips to the sitters half asleep. The getting off the bus at a neighbors house until Mommy got home. I know the sacrifice you made to get an education and I know that you not only did it for yourself…you did it for your little man.Thank you.

Good for you!!! I'm in nursing school right now, and it's hard enough when you're single and have no kids, so needless to say, I'm very impressed by your accomplishments!

Save this for him, when he gets older it will mean more and more to hime, especially with his own children, or even when he goes to school himself.

Wonderful and touching, I really enjoyed it. What a great letter to your little guy! I love how you looked at things in such a positive light, even though things were not so easy. Getting through all these hurdles with your determination speaks volumes of your character and work ethic. Thanks for sharing your story! Here is your honorary allnurses valedictorian

This was so incredibly sweet. My son and I have been through hard times on my road to becoming a nurse. Your letter was so touching that I cried. I am sure he will look back at it one day and love you even more for the sacrifices you made for him.

My mom was a single mom who worked and went to school while raising me. Thank you for giving me a glimpse into what her world must have been like. Your story brought tears to my eyes. I agree - you ought to save this one for him.
