Canadian working in the US?

Hey all, I was wondering if any of you are from Canada, or even better, specifically from Quebec, and now working in the US.
I was hoping someone could tell me how to prepare for the difference in hospital nursing between Canada and US. What are the biggest differences? What are patient loads like to compare one and the other? What are things you wish someone had told you before you made the move?
BTW, I am already in GA, working in a HHA, have my RN licence for GA already. So I am really looking for information about working in a hospital, not all the work required to get my credentials transferred!
