Schedule issues...how common is it ?

I work at an agency that is what I would call, UNFAIR in scheduling people.
I won't get into all the particulars but it seems the PM shifts are the ones with the least amount of back up. Also, I have to work every other weekend while some others do not .

I am thankful to have a job, so I don't complain to loudly. But was just wondering if I am not alone. thanks!
