How Old Are You?

2 All the research and information that I have been reading says that the average age of a nurse is now 48 years old. I wanted to take an informal poll and see what the average age of nurses on this board is .... Not sure how we can do this, except to ask everyone to list their age. Perhaps me or someone else can average them and see if our nurses match the statistics.

27. Planning on being a CRNA - in any case, I won't remain in bedside nursing.

28 and I've been a nurse over 7 years now.

I am 34 and � way done with my LVN program.

21. Passed boards in June.

34, RN 5 years...

48. Dang, I hate being average.

So far the average age is 36 .....

Yay---for once I'm YOUNGER than average!! (46 in January)

I'm 31 and starting school in January.

31, RN for 2 1/2 years.

23 years old, graduating RN school in May. will still be 23 in may, and will be 24 in august. to sum it up-when i become a nurse, i'll be 23 stilllove, rose
