HRSA Loan Repayment

I graduated a few years ago, and was unable to apply for the HRSA Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program until this year. I plan to apply when the 2013/2014 cycle opens up. I know that this past year HRSA changed the funding preferences (see here). The last thread I could find persons who were selected posted their debt-to-salary ratio, so other people could get an idea of their chances. (I know there are a lot of factors - applicant pool, money available ect), but I'd love to get an idea of who actually gets this! It seems like such a unattainable dream.

If you've gotten into this program, what "tier" were you? Any suggestions/tips? Comments on how its going?
