I wouldn't worry; I sign my regular 'civilian' name on work documents for HR, payroll and the like. I save the 'RN' for times it is necessary to indicate my position - like patient records, union forms, nursing education hours at work, etc.

If you sent a proper typed letter or email with a signature, you would write something like this at the end of the text. Note that your degree precedes your licensure. If you have certifications, they follow it.Very truly yours,/signature Firstname X Lastname/Firstname X Lastname BSN RN [email protected]

After 13 years, I sign RN on everything.... I have never been questioned....
