Any X-Ray techs that are RN's or are in the process?

I'm an X-Ray tech who will be starting nursing school soon and was just curious if there are very many of us out there, and what you thought of the difference between X-Ray school and RN school?
Sorry that I'm not more informed, but how much training/education does a rad tech undergo? Is it a college degree? Certificate program?

It's a 2 year degree just like an associates RN. Just basically looking for people who like me moved from x-ray into nursing and there thoughts on the difference in learning, testing, and anything else. I've never met anyone who has done both so it would be interesting to get there side of the story.
