Blood Withdraw class vs Phlebotomy

2 I took a blood withdraw and IV therapy class in California these are the specifics

27 hours of Theory and 9 hours of Clinical.

Does that mean I am a Phlebotomist? Can I take the CPT exam? Im a bit confused I thought I had to take a semester long class. I am an LVN



I took a training class for the hours here, but was told that you had to have your boss sign off that you had done 100 sticks before you could be certified, in addition to the exam. Could be regional, though.

My Instructor said we would get a Certification for IV therapy and another for Blood Withdrawal. I just don't know what that means, Im originally from Texas and we can do IV's in that state without any certification.
