It seems that there are no accidents in the universe. Nursing gave so much to your family and now you are giving back. Your dad is proud of you. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Your father is the one I am so amazed with. He suffered and worked so hard at staying alive for his family. His struggle, the family struggle, his medical caregivers, all gave you what you were meant to do and be. Your dad is now an angel knowing what you are doing in life to help others the way they helped him and the family cope.

Thank you for sharing. You are gonna be a great nurse and your Dad will live on through the kindness and guidence you are able to give others bacause of the lessons you learned from those around during his illness

What an amazing story ! Im not a nurse but my partner is. I can't imagine all the intense feelings going into 7th grade etc etc but the story even though sad .. I liked the way you could see the positive in those years as well even though they were very hard for all in your family.
