took metformin after ct scan

I have a patient who took her maintenance medication metformin after the ct scan. Her crea is 91. She is an outpatient. Im worried what will happen
Usually there is a radiologist on call who can advise patients what to do, the patient should phone the CT department.

The patient needs to call their PCP and department where she got her exam to seek further instructions.....it is recommended to not take it but not forbidden. The Creatinine is 91???? that has to be wrong.

Is the 91 creatinine level reported measured from another country(not USA) ? Some countries do report lab results in other ways.

The OP is in the Philippines......That was the information I was hoping the OP would return and post so we can give a sufficient answer.

I'm not sure about the Philipines but if the measurement is in umol/L as we use in Canada then 91 is a very normal creatinine. OP, the patient needs to consult with a physician in regards to this.

Im sorry guys i was busy and have no access to internet lately. Yep im in the philippines and her crea is normal. Our unit for crea is umol. If im not mistaken.

If the creat was normal the it is probably no big deal.
