Stay in or get out?

I just started a new job but not really sure it's for me. I'm contemplating if I should leave now before I'm in too deep or stick it out. It's a lead position that I don't have experience but boss is willing to give a chance to learn as you go. Being in "charge" wasn't what I expected to be. What adds to the stress is also upcoming audits! We are also in transition of training new hires so its difficult to leave. Stick it out or go?
I need some guidance.
Stick it out. Whenever I've changed jobs, I've always had a few weeks of "buyer's remorse" and wishing I had stayed at my old job. Change is scary and uncomfortable. But you owe it to yourself to allow yourself the chance to become more comfortable in the role and get to know the job better before deciding it's not for you.

How long did you stay before you knew it's the one or not?

I'd give it 6 months to a year.

If you keep job-hopping you'll always be "still learning the job"! They know that. Don't expect to be an expert so fast! Never be afraid to say, "I don't know but I'll find out." That will endear you to many people, especially the ones who can't or won't find out by themselves.
