how long after an interview did you find out if you got the job?

If I give you a summary of my interview could you maybe give me your opinions as to how you think it went?

Interview lasted a little over an hour. They asked me questions, I asked them questions. After I asked my questions they asked me several times if I had MORE questions. After the interview they gave me a tour and introduced me to the clinical nurse specialist.

The position is for labor and delivery and when I asked them

"If I do not get this job, what advice would you give me so that I can secure this job in the future?"

their response was : "That is a great question. To be honest there really isn't anything that I can think of, you've done great. The only drawback I can foresee is the fact that you are a new graduate"

One very long and painful month!! I didn't think my interview went particularly well, although they did compliment my outfit. I was so nervous and on the verge of tears/vomiting the entire time. It sounds like you did really well, though. Fingers crossed!

Immediately after the interview. I was told the background check was a formality. Was also asked to call a former employer to ask for references. I told her that I was told by one former boss that she didn't give out personal references, it all had to go through HR. I should've known right then and there that this place was very unprofessional! lol Yep, I still work there. Jobs aren't all that easy to come by these days.

I interviewed for a position back in May. My interview went a lot like yours. I interviewed and was asked several questions and I also asked several questions. The manager decided to give me a tour after the interview. There were 3 positions open different times of day/ amount of hours and I applied for all three. Two of those positions have been cancelled and the third is open but i have not heard anything. I specified that the one that is open is the one that works best for me. I have seen in the news that this hospital had lay-offs over the summer and one of the comments said they are on a hiring freeze. My point in stating that is that there are so many different factors when it comes to making a decision that it is so hard to say until you actually get an offer or rejection. Good luck to you, though! I would suggest to follow up by email if two weeks go by with no word.
