CE and new job applications

After seeing a few threads on here lately mention CE hours and all that, I had a thought come to mind that I thought some of you who have been in a management/hiring might answer.
Obviously, it isn't something that is necessary, to provide potential employers with the CE classes we have taken. But, if they are relevant to the specific area you are applying to, should you send a transcript of those classes? Can it help or is it completely useless abd irrelevant? Thanks for your input!

Most hiring folks I've spoken with say that they are inundated with resumes and paper, and that brief and succinct is better. I think the info about CE would probably be better brought up in the interview.
