Self evals

Do you do self evals at your job? We did PARS and now ACA but it's essentially the same: pages and pages of writing about your strengths and goals/plan and areas of opportunity for improvement. I find it mind-numbing and dread it every year. I think I would find peer eval to be more helpful.
We started a few years ago. I prefer them to peer reviews because a self eval allows me to sing my praises as loud as I want. Make a copy of the first one you do and if it results in a high rating, you now have a template.
