what happens next?Rating: (votes: 0) Sounds like you were dealing with a very inexperienced hiring manager if she didn't know what the hiring process was. Don't hesitate to touch base with her to see what's happening. In the meantime, you're doing all the right things by applying all over the place. The process is not quick, so you may start to get some responses soon. It's hard to start all over - this is why 'change' is so difficult. You had to move from a place where you felt a sense of mastery and accomplishment (school) to a whole new thing (job hunting) where you are starting all over as a newbie. It's uncomfortable & the uncertainty is hard to deal with. We've all been there. Wishing you major big-time job MOJO!!! Comment:
Good luck! It is a process from when the unit manager tells HR they want to hire you until HR gets all their ducks in a row. It took about 1-2 weeks for me to hear back after my interview. I worried the whole time.
