Predicament help me get out

Here is a predicament I find myself in. I have worked in a LTC facility for 2 years as a registered nurse. I have experience with subacute patients as well. I want to branch out and experience other areas of nursing. The problem is no one will hire me bc the only experience I have is in LTC. How do I gain more experience if no one will give me a chance? I feel pigeon holed into LTC .
Hilight your experiences with subacute patients on your resume and in interviews. If that doesn't do the trick, get a job at a LTAC or skilled facility, get some experience in, and try again. Keep in mind that you ARE an RN, and (even if others doubt) youCAN work ouside of LTC!!!
