LVN and RN

I have been an LVN for 7 years. I recently became an RN (found out Friday!) and coincidentally it's time to renew my LVN license. Do you guys suggest keeping an LVN and an RN license? I'm not sure what to do but would appreciate some advice. Thanks!
Yay!!!!Congratulations to you ! Nope, you don't need the LVN license anymore.

Comment:
You will be held to the RN standard regardless, so drop the other license.

It depends on the availability of jobs in your local employment market.I personally had to continue working as an LVN for about 6 weeks after having received my RN license due to the tight nursing job market in the metro area where I reside.
