Quote from natmanzoLets be honest, I dont remember that much for A&P (although i loved the class very much and still have my book and notes) My question is, am I supposed to know like EVERYTHING?

We had to dissect cats and it wasn't helpful for me...at all. I didn't remember anything about it, even going into the next semester. Actually, it confused me even more when dealing with human anatomy.

Muscles. I had a hard time with muscles. I hardly remember that section. I just look it up if I do not remember.

I still look stuff up, there is no way any of us can remember everything!! I think understanding the Krebs cycle is important to understand how insulin works, so that is something I really studied in detail. I posted an anatomical drawing of the abd on our nursing unit because so many nurses were getting the left and right sided organs confused. There are all types of references out there and I often look things up to be absolutely sure!! I also think you have to have a good visual brain to be able to look at a pt and know where their organs are located. There are some basics, but most of us use references to help.
