Advertising on AN

Has anyone else noted some odd advertising on AN lately? Today when I first signed on to AN for the What's New thread, there was an ad for "Naughty Buddies". I have a screen shot but can not seem to copy and paste it. I alerted admin but I was curious if anyone else noticed it.
The spammers and cheap marketers will cram the forum in bursts. Assuming you are referring to posts. If actual ads it's possibly linked to your browsing history. Clear your cache, cookies, browser history and run a virus/spyware scan to be safe.

Quote from RNIBCLCMy browsing history? I never seen anything like that and I don't search those things. So I'm not sure I understand how that would be linked to me. I use an iPad that no one else uses.

Contact JoeV. But try clearing your cookies & browsing history. One misspelling can give a ration of bizarre google ads

The ads I get are for products I either looked at recently or have just bought. For example, I just bought some new pjs at Macy's and now I'mseeing that same ad, asking me if I wouldn't like to buy four more pair.My husband bought himself some new dress shirts. He used his credit card. He bought them online and bis purchase shows up on various siteson MY computer. Go figure! The simplest answer? Magic.
