NYU Summer Externship 2015

Hello all

I am planning on applying to a few hospitals this summer for a nursing externship/internship. I just competed med surg1 last fall (yayyyy), I am going to Peds and Maternity this spring. I have a few hospitals on my list, but I am particularly very interested in NYU Langone. However, I am kinda nervous about some of their requirements. For example, they require a 3.5 or higher GPA and nothing less than a B in science and pre-requite courses. I do have a GPA of 3.5, however I have two or three pre-req courses that I got a B- and even a C+. I need advice, should I still go ahead with the application? or just forget it and try other hospitals??

Please people I need advice.... what should I do?? I read a few comments on how people did their nursing externship/internship in NYU Langone, how was the interview process, and particularly are they really really really strict with the grade requirement??
I'd say just go for it. It doesn't hurt to try. What other internships/externships are you applying to?

Hello Kimmie24Thank you for the advice.. I was thinking about maybe Montefiore, but do you have more suggestions, in terms of other hospitals I should consider?
