I'm now in my second week of Fundamental Skills I for Practical Nursing. This class focuses on nutrition, and basic CNA skills with a clinical component. I attend Brown Mackie College so the courses are only one month long. I feel stressed, and overwhelmed like I am never going to understand this. I got through Anatomy I and Anatomy II with a B and better, yet I'm still struggling to understand. Is it normal to not do so well when you first start your nursing courses? I know a lot of critical thinking is needed to apply to questions, and not everyone has gained the fullest use of their critical thinking skills yet, but...will this get any easier? I'm extremely nervous and I just took my first Exam and I won't know how well I did for a couple of days
Any tips or advice related to this course specifically?
