How do you sign your name?Rating: (votes: 0) My boss at my previous place of employment told me I needed to use my full name when I signed, but I never changed the way I sign after she told me that (I'm such a rebel!) I use my full name including middle initial when I sign non-nursing related things. I sign my name T. Commuter, RN (first initial, last name & title) on workplace documents. After a decade of doing this, I have no intentions of changing a thing. On academic papers I sign my name The Commuter, BSN, RN, CRRN (first name, last name, degree, licensure, professional certification). Comment:
J. Lastname RN on work related documents.Joanna Lastname BSCN RN GNCC on academic papers and resume.

I use my first and last name. I was always told that you need to sign your name as it appears on your nursing license. So that's what I do.

Well... It's my name, but I have such terrible handwriting, no one could ever tell! First, last, RN. Sometimes I have to print it out for transport and that is hard.

I used to do a very ledgible Libby 1987 RN. Now I do first and last initial followed by illedgible remaining last name L1~~~~RNOne of my first employers required the former but after seeing for several years how my current admin signs I quickened it up.
