Hi im currently in my last year and last semester of high school in Canada. I know this site is mostly American, but i think you guys can still help. Anyway I've been thinking, if i should do an LPN program in college or if i should go straight into the RN degree program in University. There is a bigger problem which is that, even if i wanted to do the RN program the courses that im currently finishing are community college bound courses and not university courses. I have a choice of staying in high school an extra year and bridging my courses to University courses. But i really dont want to stay one more eyar. My other choice is completing my LPN program and then bridging to RN. Is the bridging program hard? Will i be in a disadvantage from the RNs who went directly into the RN program? Should i stay one more year in highschool or do both do a bridging program in college? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long and confusing post
