hello to everyone here.i just wanted to ask a question and i feel like my question is a very dumb one but i would really like to know what it takes to be an RN. As in, what should i expect if i go that route. What you studied?, what books you used?, how much things cost?, what methods you use to help you remember things?; because im having the hardest time remembering things in my M.A classes. i want to continue in the medical field; but i'm overwhelmed by what's out there. And i don't want to seem dumb if i ask this to my teacher's. can someone please share with me what they went through?

Nursing courses can be a lot of reading and memorization. Everyone studies differently. There are a lot of books the first semester, but many of them are used throughout the course, so expect a big expense at first. Tuition depends on if you go to a public school, a community college, or a private school. To become an RN you can go either the LPN to RN route, the ADN route, or the BSN route. Whichever suits your particular lifestyle.
