Call For Other Group One Victims

I have just been denied a job due to Group One.

If you practice (or try to!) in Texas, this may be important to you. Briefly, they call themselves a "credit reporting agency," and proceed to spread malicious reports about you if you ever had a supervisor who didn't care for you and decided to make you pay.

I have no clue why anyone would do that to me, but I just got the letter today that I was denied the job I was offered a couple of weeks ago.

I believe it is time to stop this nonsense.

Please, if you have had a negative event because of Group One, please contact me. We need to get organized. There are legal protections for employees (former and otherwise) and this crowd violates it left and right.

I am hoping to get enough interest to start a class action lawsuit. It has been done successfully for a lot less reason.

The best way to fight this monster is to start organizing the Texas hospitals. Until there is a strong labor movement in Texas management will be able to get away with these shenanigans. Wish you the best.In Solidarity...(I also agree with trying to sue...)Write your legislator and ask him to start the process to rein in these characters through a law change...

Here's their website. http://www.dfwhc.org/groupone/Looking at the list of participating employers, it looks mostly like it is the Baylor system. (Go figure!)But there are references made to Norman Regional (in Norman, Oklahoma) and San Diego.I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure San Diego is in California.Looks like it is metastasizing.

Yes, please explain: What is GroupOne?

I don't even live in TX, but I have heard of these freaks. Soooo wrong!! You got my support if I can do anything (speaking as someone who also has been wrongfully shafted).
