Im going to have a bachelor's in behavioral sciences next year...i just came up with the decision to get a bachelor's in nursing...i already have most of the prereqs for a BSN. Do you think having a bachelor's prior to applying to nursing school is an advantage?

I plan on applying to southern university...one of the best colleges for nursing...do you think i would have a chance??

Thanks guys! :wink2:
Have you considered finishing your degree, and applying for an accelerated BSN or Direct Entry Master's program? Obviously, it depends of what your long term goals are but it sounds like a shame to lose out on the degree now. ofcourse, if you can jump into the BSN program and only have the 2 yrs left of nursing courses...what's the harm? Most of us have spent a couple years doing pre req's and I suppose it's no different than that. Take a look at all the available routes and decide which will be the most effecient and cost effective.
