What to do to change specialties

I am an Rn with 20plus years in nursing, most in LTC. I would like to return to acute care, but am unsure of what would give me my best chance. Most of my longterm care exp is as an Rnac( registered nurse assessment coordinator), mostly ride a desk, complete assessments, write care plans, etc. I do fill in as shift supervisor at times. Any suggestions?
