NP to MD

Hey all just wondering about how to go about becoming an MD once I'm done with my NP. I'm not sold on the idea but am just playing around with it and would like some advice as to how I would go about it after I graduate in May. Any info provided would be greatly appreciated. The easy way to become an MD after you finish your NP is to to take the MCAT, apply and be accepted to a medical school, and then complete such a program. Voila!

Plenty of nurses do go on to medical school (my father was one, many decades ago), but there are no shortcuts or special considerations for nurses, even advanced practice nurses. You'll need to complete the standard med school prerequisities, ace the MCAT, and apply to med school with everyone else. Best wishes!
