Can't Get Entry-Level CNA Gig

Hi all,

I'm little discouraged and in need of advice. I'm in my second semester of Nursing school, my second Baccalaureate degree. I currently work as a bank teller, but am trying to find a job as a CNA to gain health care experience. I'm certified in my state as a CNA, and I also hold a health care provider-level BLS certification. I'm active in the student nurses' association at school, etc.
For the life of me, I cannot find a job! We have multiple large hospitals, nursing homes, etc. in my smallish city but despite applying for every listed job out there, I've had no luck.
Any advice? I'm sick of the bank and what to get going in the nursing field in some way shape or form.
