PA or NP?

I'm having trouble deciding between the two. I have a BS and a MS in counseling. I am currently a EMTP. Interested in seeing the the country as I work. There are bridge programs for medics to RN considering it, then found bridge program for medic to PA. I like ER work but also I like teaching my patients about their predicament that brings me to their doorstep. Any more ideas on how I can narrow this down?PLease
