Legalities of working as ACP with RN license in FL

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knows if a newly licensed RN is allowed (legally) to work as an Associate Care Provider in Florida. I'm not having much luck in the way of nursing jobs, and I know that working as an ACP would be a great way to get my foot in the door of a hospital. I know some states allow this, but I don't know about Florida. Any info from those "in the know" is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
You are held to the scope of practice of your highest license. So, even though you'd be working as an ACP, you'd be held to the scope of your RN license. Most hospitals won't allow a licensed RN to work as anything other than an RN. And, because it would also be MY license on the line if something went wrong with a patient if another nurse provided sub-standard care to a patient that was in my assignment as an ACP, there's NO way I personally would do it.
