RN to BSN programs in TN

I'm a soon-to-be ADN graduate moving to Nashville in January to start work at Vanderbilt Medical Center. After six months to a year I'd like to get crackin' on my BSN. Can anyone recommend a great Rn-to-BSN program in the state? Either online, or brick-and-mortar if it's in the Nashville/Murfreesboro area.

Some criteria I'd like:

  • CCNE and/or NLNC accrediation
  • No Clinical Requirement (I will already be a critical care nurse, and I'll have done my clinicals and have my license, I don't see why I need MORE hours of working for free)
  • Be connected to an actual, legitimate university or private college, none of this Everest College / U of Phoenix / Stephen's Henager stuff
  • Be affordable. I'd be willing to pay more if it was a reputable college/uni, but not for the above-mentioned colleges

Thanks for your help!
Check out Belmont University! RN/BSN - Belmont UniversityI went there as an undergrad and had a great experience. Amazing faculty. Not cheap though, but if you're working for Vandy, you should have help with tuition. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the reply. I saw Belmont University, it's nice that it's so close to Vandy. Does it not have a clinical requirement for the BSN? I'm most likely going to go with Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro because of its accreditation (has both NLNAC and CCNE), and affordability (only $220 per credit hour). While it does have a clinical requirement, I haven't found anything around there that doesn't. Thanks for the help, though.

I think Belmont does have a clinical requirement..wouldn't hurt to ask though! Good luck to you! I have lots of friends @ Vandy who like it.
