Attention Looking for cover letter and resume advice

HI Everyone,

I will be graduating this May from a community college and I am beginning to construct my cover letter and resum�. I have tried searching through allnurses for sample cover letters but some links seem to be no longer working.

I know how competitive the new grad nursing job market is and I was wondering what do nurse recruiters look for in a cover letter and resum�? Should the resum� be limited to one page?Should I be more detailed in describing my previous jobs where I was a conference organizer and a reporter covering the chemical industry or not?Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
