Voluntary Survey

New grad, here. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the voluntary survey hurts more than it helps for certain groups of nurses?

The voluntary survey you fill out after you apply for a job. I put my theory to a test. Jobs that I previously applied for, I answered the voluntary self-disclosure survey honestly, but no responses. I went back and revised it, I got 2 callbacks/follow-ups today. ......Discrimination is alive and well. That Equal Opportunity Employment is BULL.
